Since our very first collection at our very first service as a congregation, most of our "loose offerings" have gone to CAP, the food pantry on Main Street in Conway that for almost thirty years has offered emergency assistance to our neighbors. CAP's first "location" was an Episcopal Church closet, and we've chosen to make CAP our special ministry, offering not just our funds, but other help as needed.
Founded in the midst of World War II, ERD supports programs that fight poverty, hunger, and disease across the world.Active in over 40 countries, ERD provides us the opportunity to reach beyond our own neighborhood. Offerings collected in months when there is a fifth Sunday are sent to ERD.
St. Anne's is truly a lay-led church. We are very fortunate to have access to wonderful clergy who come each week to preach and celebrate the Eucharist, but worship depends on participation from parishioners.
